Just catching up with some photos...

Just a few pics from the holiday season. Danielle and Timber enjoyed the snowfall. Lots of the neighbors have taken to turning in the center pond of our subdivision into "hockeytown". I am almost wishing we knew how to ice skate so that we could go outside and skate. Yesterday, I bet there were a hundred kids out there having fun!!







THe kids had a great Christmas. BJ did get tired of watching Danielle open her gifts though and fell asleep. But to his defense, she had a pretty big pile.












Hope it gets warmer here soon.

Danielle's first game

No day of football in Ann Arbor is complete without a little pre-game tailgate at Pioneer. Danielle thought it was very cool that we had a parking spot waiting for us. She got to play catch with her Uncle Rick and her cousins, Emily, Zachary and Zoe.





After the "Walk", we did a little pre-game shopping. Danielle wanted to get a few things for herself. She ended up with a couple of tshirts, a new visor, a pom pon, a necklace, and of course, a foam finger. (Ask me 8 years ago if I ever would have bought a foam finger and I would have enthusiastically said, NO, but....)


The first touchdown of the game was in the end zone right in front of us....and she cheered!!!!! Wow did she cheer!!!

But the BEST question of the day? "Mommy, when can we go again?" Music to my ears. Another Maize and Blue Faithful.

Happy Birthday Danielle!!!!!! 8 is GREAT.

Danielle turned 8 years old today. I have no idea where the time has gone, but she sure is growing up.


She had to cheer for her first game this weekend. I think she is happy to be doing it again. She said she was ready to stop practicing and just get out on the field.




Big brother came the game today. It is probably the only game he will get to see since he heads out next week for school himself. Cross country practice starts a couple of weeks before classes do. (Run BJ Run)

We ended the day with cake and ice cream. Becca and Danielle's friend, Daniella, (its only confusing for a while), helped her blow out her candles.

Dance Camp 2009

Danielle had dance camp today. Here is her routine...





And especially for Auntie Shirley, here is a pic of her in her new Pom uniform for the upcoming season...Hey, did I mention I am the TEAM MOM? Yep...thats right. FUN times ahead.



Danielle and I both like this uniform better than last year's. She also has an outfit with Jazz pants and a cropped turtleneck top.....HMMMMM...cropped. Not sure how we feel about that, but we will have to see.

I think our blog is now sufficiently updated!!

Nana' Visit

Brian's mom came to visit recently. We went to a Sox game and had a barbecue at Uncle George's house.
