December to Remember

We did lots of family time this December...We had to celebrate BJ's 19th Birthday, Christmas eve and Christmas day. Whew. Mommy and Daddy are tired. Here are some photos for you too see how much fun the kids had....

BJ's new hat....I dont think he has taken it off except to shower....

A friendly game of ball with the two uncles and their nieces..

The newly crowned snow queen is making a trip to this year's Mount Fuller. After 12 inches of snow fell one day, Brian made Danielle her own sledding hill outside in the front yard. Sadly, with record high temps and rain this past day or so, Mount Fuller is just a puddle now.

That poor dog. What photo session would be complete without making TImber wear something on her head?

Here is Timber checking out her Facebook page...Just kidding. But she did seriously lay down like this on her own in front of the laptop.

SANTA DID SHOW UP!!!!

Clearly, someone was VERY nice this year...

Sorry there are no photos yet of BJ and his pile, but he had to go to his mom's house for the holiday. Sure was quiet without him.

Say Cheese, Uncle Brian!!

Hope you all had a great holiday.

We've got spirit, yes we do....

Danielle had the awards ceremony for Cheerleading this past weekend. She got another trophy for participating. She was also selected by her coaches to receive her squad's Spirit Award. She got two free tickets to an Arena football game (too bad they wont have a season this coming year) and a Tshirt that said she was the winner. She has already worn it to school.

Mommy has herself a cheerleader. I am going to have to get myself one of those rhinestone "cheer mom" pins.

Busy time of the year....

We have been keeping very busy with school and work around 1605.

We had a great chance to visit with BJ's friend Kevin (AKA Danielle's boyfriend) over the Thanksgiving holiday. Unfortunately, it will be the last time we see him for a while as his family is moving away. We took a few photos to remember the day.

Danielle was a little sad when she had to say goodbye. She will have to keep writing him letters while he is away at West Point until he can schedule a visit here again...maybe next summer.

I'm sure that BJ will not know what to do with himself for a bit over Xmas break as well without Kevin here. It will take some getting used to for sure.

I took Danielle and her friend, Sarah to the Cheetah Girls concert this past Friday night. We opted to drive up to Milwaukee for the show instead of trying to get tickets in Chicago. The girls had a great time, and it was a very good show.

The girls did a lot of singing and dancing and screaming.

We had pretty decent seats and the girls had a great view of the Cheetahs. We did a lot of waving and I swear that Sabrina waved to Danielle once. (Wink.)

Saturday, I was away for most of the day at a work meeting. Danielle apparantly got bored while I was gone and played "sing along" with the dogs. Poor Timber.

That dog puts up with a lot of Danielle's play "props". Necklaces, hair bows, and now a microphone headset. I wonder what will be next.

On Sunday we celebrated BJ's and Busia's birthdays. BJ could not come home, as he has studying to do for his finals this week. He unfortunately spent a lot of his weekend in the library. (Actually, he spends a lot of time there anyway keeping up with his studies...so proud). We did a little video conference with him at Busia's and sang happy birthday and let him get back to his work. We had delicious cake and ice cream to celebrate with Busia. Becca and Danielle did a great job helping blow out the candles, and then helping their Dzizdzia pass out the cake.

Here are "Mick" and his chicks....

Here is Brian trying to figure out some electronic things. We bought Dad a gift probably 5 years ago and promised that we would be back to hook it up. I guess it slipped my husband's mind. He originally indicated that it would only take a minute to do....(i have heard that before). About an hour later, he looked like the photo below...and still had a blue screen. THANK GOD that "TECHNOCHRIS" was there to push the saving button. All is now right in DVD world at Busia's house. At least we think it's ok.

Happy Birthday to Busia and BJ.
