Is it REALLY already NOVEMBER?

Well, another year of Cross Country has come and gone. BJ ran a great race at sectionals. It was another PR for him 16:28 and some change. He ran his legs off....we were a proud group there to watch. The night before we had the team over for the pasta party. That was fun. Lots of kids. Lots of noise. Danielle enjoyed herself. She likes all the girls on the team.
Brian also got to take a turn chaperoning one of Danielle's school trips to the pumpkin patch. She loves going there. Not sure that she was crazy about the spooky hay ride, but thats a whole different story. Halloween is a rough time for her. She has nightmares.

We took Daddy on a boat cruise around Lake Michigan for his birthday. Danielle entered the halloween costume contest and lost to a 18 month old Winnie the Pooh. Even she had to admit that he was cute. She had a great time watching the skyline and dancing.

Danielle was also in a fashion show for charity this past weekend. One of her friend's Mom is a volunteer for the Junior League in Wilmette and yearly they do an American Girl Fashion Show fundraiser. So, Danielle got to model two outfits. She played Addy (for those of you not familiar with AG, she is a historical character from the 1850ish era growing up as a young girl in Pennsylvania.) She got to wear the Addy plaid special occasion dress and Addy's nightie. She did a great, great job. Daddy even represented all the men in the audience well with his attendance at the fashion show luncheon!

Way to go BJ! Congratulations on a fine cross country season. Not sure what Dziadz and I will do next year at this time.
Nice photo of daddy and daughter and skyline. Looks like a picture perfect day.
I was privileged to attend the fashion show and proud to applaud the fine modeling skills of Danielle/Addy. She walked the runway like a trooper. Busia
Good season! Good fashion show stuff. Kudos to Brian for braving the show!
Busia and Dziadz, maybe we can set up something where Becca and Danielle can run around outside for you for 16:28 so you'll have something to do next Fall.
Cobbler Ct.
Well, Becca seems to like walking up and down the stairs here at my house....LOTS of times. Thats gotta be worth a good 20 minutes...but with training we may be able to get her down to 16:28.
