CCIW Championships
On Saturday we made the trip to Kenosha to watch BJ run in the CCIW championships. He was placed on the varsity squad this week, so he was able to participate and earn a chance to run in November 15th's NCAA regionals.
In order to qualify, he had to finish within the top 7 of his team individually.
It was great weather for racing. He ran a great time...27:39. He finished 5th on his team and 39th overall. The team finished 4th overall as well. They are now all headed onto Rock Island, IL for the NCAA regionals.

Some athletes say something like "I just won the Super Bowl. I'm going to Disneyland!"
But on Crooked Lk Ln we say "Disneyland---naaaah! We're going to Rock Island, IL and we wouldn't have it any other way". Good luck in the regionals, BJ and Carthage. Run BJ and team. Run fast.
