Happy Birthday Times Two

The family gathered to celebrate Busia and Bj's birthdays this weekend. Danielle made a cake and decorated it. It was really a delicious way to top off a meal of chicken tacos.

Hard to believe our first baby is already 18. An adult? Hmmmm. Where did the time go? Soon our bigger baby will be off at college. Hopefully not too far away from home. (Im a worrier...have no idea where I got that gene.)

And really what party isn't complete without a hot game of Twister. Here DziaDzia spins and Busia thinks about playing....well not really but it makes for a great photo.

Becca got in on the Twister action too...Here she is telling Unckie Brian to move over for her. She has GREAT twister technique...She likes to get a running or hopping start to her final move. You can see Timber also waiting for DziaDzia to tell her where to place her paw.

Danielle painted Busia some pizza plates for her present. She has become quite the little crafter. When BJ opened his gifts, she wanted to know why he didn't get any toys. She told Busia that when she is 18, she will still want a lot of toys.

The party was topped off by a rousing chorus of "Happy Birthday to You Cha cha cha!" Here is to another happy, healthy and fun-filled year for both our birthday folks!!!! Cha Cha Cha.

Not only did I ponder playing Twister (for few seconds), eat tacos and cake, rub Gracie's tummy and see my grandson celebrate 18-ness, I also got to go upstairs with Rebecca aand Danielle and play with Barbie dolls, little people, blocks and listen to Cheetah Girls music. I had a great time. Today we return for a Christmas cookie baking extravanganza. I may need a nap soon. Busia

Wow, that was quite an afternoon of entertainment. And I am jealous of Busia's pizza plates. Good job Danielle. Happy Belated Birthday Busia and BJ.
